JOANNA BALLARD

Ms. Ballard is a native of Northwest Louisiana. She has been a long lasting member of ‘Trapped Truth Society’ and the ‘Shreveport Writers' Registry’.

Joanna is a port, fiction writer, journalist, story teller and web page designer. She also promotes and serves as a concert booking agent. One of her biggest acts has Louisiana’s famed Henry Turner Junior & Flavor.

Joanna began her storytelling and writing career before she could even read or write, by creating her own songs and stories. She was first published at the tender age of 16 and has, since, been widely published. She has won several awards, and is recipient of a number of awards. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English; with a Theater Minor from Southern Arkansas University.

Ms. Ballard also has a career as an artist; intertwining her love for words and color digitally in her own styled poetic art. This art has grown out of her talent and enjoyment of web design and photography.

‘Sunday at Four’, ‘Downtown and Around Shreveport’, ‘Ballard Bits’, ‘North of New Orleans’ (Volumes 1 & 2), ‘Electronic Poetry’, ‘Love Bytes’ and ‘Sunday at Four Summer’ are among her leading works.
