SOPHIA BROWN is a reggae songbird with a passion that is destined to take her to the pinnacle of Caribbean . if not, in the near future, way up in the echelon of international music and entertainment.
Besides her remarkable vocal talent and scintillating on- stage versatility, she is an extremely beautiful young lady with overflowing exuberance, and with tremendous enthusiasm over a career that has, to date, been recognized in many ways.and, in several countries.
A full-fledged performer, by choice, SOPHIA has been in show business for almost a decade. However, it is her recentlyreleased 14-track album, "The Spotlight", that is; like wild fire; bringing her to the fore of entertainment prominence.
SOPHIA is, by no means, a stranger to the stage. She has performed in places Dubai, Australia, Israel, several U.S. staes and Caribbean islands.
In 2007, she released her first official single, "Love You Pure". This was followed by the stella hit, "I'm A Rose".Her latest single, "Weak To You", is currently in rotation on a number of radio frequencies; in Jamaica and in several countries around the world. The video to this single can also be seen on local Jamaica cable networks; including TEMPO, RE-TV, HYP-TV, FOX (Italy) and WORLD REGGAE-TV.
At the start of 2009, BROWN was nominated for "Best New Female Artiste" at the 'Excellence In Music & en- tertainment (EME) Awards'.
