Broadening the Perspectives

Founded in April of 2007, but officially launched on January 11, 2008, DA-Style is steadily becoming a popular household name in the true sense of the term.

As a recently formulated small fashion / modeling agency, founded by Miss Natasha Chasseau; a proud native of Dominica, now residing in Anguilla; Miss Chasseau, and her Anguillan co-founder partner, Kirthly Richardson; has been involved in the fashion and modeling industry for numerous years. She is well known for her now-renowned fashion mannequins: Dominique. She has also been interested in establishing her own business in the fashion world.

DA-Style’s general nature is to produce annual
calendars, magazines and fashion shows within
Dominica and throughout the Caribbean to
 showcase the talent, beauty and potential of
young aspiring models. The agency also seeks
 to secure assignments, both profitable and
significant to help promote positive careers;
locally, regionally and internationally by engaging
 the models in assignments with magazines,
fashion show producers, TV commercials,
department stores, catalogue companies, model
competition organizers... among other things.

DA-Style, in addition to its specific activities, prides
 itself in assuming the responsibility role for taking
 care of, and ensuring that the needs of its modeling
 associates are met when having to travel to
countries of assignment to perform and/.or participate
in shows.

On December 02 of 2007, three DA-Style models received the opportunity to participate in a swimsuit competition in Anguilla’s “Miss Sandy Island” extravaganza where they gave a tremendous performance, and represented the agency to the best of their abilities. The models greatly appreciated having given the opportunity to show their potential and skills.

January 11 was the day that DA-Style launched its “2009 DA-Style Swimsuit Calendar”. Both the male and female packages displayed models: all connected to the agency.

Not only are Misses Chasseau and Richardson founders of DA-Style, but they are, as well, Directors of NK Productions: a swimsuit line with designs created by the very talented and fashion-minded 
Miss Chasseau, herself.

NK Production is taking swimsuit design to a bold, new level and look … that of being: Sexy, sassy and fiery for this who dare”.

On February 26, 2008, DA-Style and NK Productions
 were jointly featured at the International Soca
Monarch Night, with Mr. Vegas, held at the Windsor
Park Stadium, in Dominica. The models put on a
performance that left the huge crowd thirsting for more.
The audience, through their gleaming eyes and vivid
demonstration of their delight and approval, proved
that they were truly impressed with the models and,
 even more so, with they designs they displayed.

Presently, DA-Style consists of thirty models, and the
agency has not stopped looking for anyone who may
be interested in joining.

Underway right now are plans to materialize in the
making of the 2009 Swimsuit Calendars; which is
projected by the planners, designers, and all as being:
 “something to die for!”
